that is our pied pearl Mango, we're keeping him/her and the other pied too, (s)he is a normal pied, not a pearl but I find them both stunning :D I loooooooooooooooove pieds :wink: :D

they are so cute guys, the babies preen eachother :D

The chicks will continue to beg for food probably till about the 7th or 8th week. By then, Noah will have started ignoring them sometimes, forcing them to forage on their own. One good thing about them being out in the cage now, and having the opportunity to investigate different foods, they will learn early on that there is more to life than seeds and pellets! The greens, I believe, are instinctive, since they are ground feeders, and the opportunities abound for them to taste green objects. Somehow, they know what NOT to nibble on, and part of that comes from watching parents, part from as I describe it, "natural instinct".
