I have cockatiels, and one of my females is laying eggs!! My male is very aggresive this season, towards me and her!! Can I take him out for a week while I am on vacation, because my grandmother is feeding them and I don't want her getting bit. She has only layed one egg right now, that was last night. If you are not planning on having babies I would separate the male in another cage but keep the cage next to his female. I had to do this my male. he was a total pain to the female and to the other tiels.So long as he can see her he will be fine.
