Molting again?

Postby Rosies Mommy on Mon May 05, 2008 3:08 am

So I thought that Rosie was done molting about a month or two ago (I think it has been that long, I am terrible at times). But lately she is losing feathers like crazy again. I did notice that her poopy was runny for a couple of days too. Does the runny poop come along with molting?? Is it normal to molt again this quickly??

She may never have completed the first molt. As long as she is eating, sleeping, pooping, and keeping weight steady, I wouldn't worry too much.

It is spring and the light change does trigger molting in some fids.
