hand fed

your baby STILL NEEDS to be hand-fed. I am assuming your baby is starting to fledge. He will be "fussy" when it comes to feeding but he will p still need hand feeding up to 8 weeks. At about 6 weeks start introducing some cheerios, millets, little bits of veggies on tthe cage floor. he will start to nibble. A baby will wean when he is ready. Do not deprive your baby food or feedings thinking that is what you need to do.
I bought a tiel that I feel now (looking back in retrospect) that she was weaned too early. She is really needy, and she is a feather picker. She needs extra care with proper nutrition as well. Meanwhile my babies that I had personally hand raised and hand fed until 9weeks are healthy & happy.
please be patient with your baby!!!

baby tiel

How are the baby tiels doing? Remember to keep feeding them even if they are a bit fussy during the fledge stage. By 8 weeks, they will stop the "auuuggggghhhhh" "auuuuugggggghhhhh" noises meaning they are weaned.
