I have a 2 year old hen teils paired for breeding this is the first clutch ive let her have, and 2 eggs so far look like long tear drops. She has a good diet and calcium, can this happen since she have never layed before. Thanks Roy

hi Roy, all my hens have different shapped eggs from the "teardrop' to almost round. As long a she is on a good diet and healthy its probably normal for her to have eggs shaped like that.Good luck on the hatching.
