kiwi the bare eye cockatoo is at my house. Her owner brought her up yesterday.She is an 8 year old female bare eye. She wa well taken care of. it is just now her owners lifestyle has changed and thought a different household would be better for her.Kiwi did great adjusting but two of my hand raised adult tiels hate her. they hiss at her and are p788ed off at me.

did you quarantine her? You may want to start over since it is only one day.

This is what I would do. If you have an extra cage, put a white stuffed animal in in and give it attention. See how the tiels react. when they get used to it then move the too in.

Or - give it time

things are getting a little better but they still freak out when kiwi "calls". I bought them all some new toys to keep occupied with.
