Okay, we all know that it is important to monitor consistancy of poop when it comes to our babies... I was reading a recent post about Freddie and his bird Charlie. It seems that Charlie was having problems pooping... have any of your birds had this problem? Once in a while Bubba will "assume the pooping position", wiggle his butt and nothing happens... a few minutes later, he will do the same thing and then poop... sometimes it will take a couple times before anything will come out. What do you guys think? It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

Hey Again

Please re read my original post. Huey had pooping issues for about a day then everything seemed to go back to normal. For him this was a total abnormal behavior and we should have picked him up and visited the vet IMMEDIATELY !! Hindsight is 20/20 and I am still playing the "what if" game in my head. IF this behavior that your bird is displaying is a common everyday occurence then I would discuss WITH YOUR VET about maybe changing his diet or asking his/her opinion on the issue. If this is something that has just come on then I would make an appointment for him NOW. DONT delay. Keep us informed
