Stream is back up and running. I got about 15 minutes of good video, and that's really enough. I've got the rest of my life to be with them and watch them grow.

For in the "what it's worth department"....

Weighed the chicks yesterday for the first time, and was amazed at weights. In order of hatch, their weights were 65g, 60g, 50g, 29g, and 13g. Weighed them again today about same time as yesterday, and their weights were 71g, 61g, 51g, 33g, and 17g. Big improvement for Lil 'bit, and "biggun" but not as much for the middle 3 as I'd expected. All had full crops and quite frankly, I'm pleased at their growth. I don't anticpate at this time having to pull anybody and hand feed. Smokey and Missy are doing a great job of feeding and caring for them.

Lastly, if any of you want to view the chicks individually, I'll probably start weighing them on camera daily about 11 to 11:30 AM EDT. Join us in the chat room for closups and fun..

Wow!! I would never think they would weigh that much!! How did they react to you handling them? Just looking at them on the webcam make me want to scoop them up and give kisses!!
