Well, atleast I know my tiels are normal, for the most part, LOL. Mandi loves faces. She also sits right there, infront of me, her her beak almost on my chin and just stars. I try not to laugh, it's just sooo cute. If I laugh, it sometimes startles her, lol. She also loves to pick at my ear. I dont' think I have ear hair She also picks at my lips. I think she does it more when my lips are dry and she tries to pick off the skin, which I don't let her do on purpose cause first of all... eww. secondly, that tends to hurt.

Mandi is always picking at my husbands stubble. It's just hilarous.

I think they just like to be near us, like they would be near their flock mates in nature.
