We had a few minutes to spare yesterday so we stopped into Petland here in Vegas. They had an area with 3 cockatiels.

2 were very buddy, buddy with each other. One of them was singing up a storm. He would lean over to the other one and sing right in his / her ear. He was so cute!

It is funny, when you have a female and don't get to enjoy that singing, you are amazed to hear one that does.

I hated to leave...better yet, I should say, I hated to leave without him!!!

Awww, I know---that is the one thing I love is when woody sings! He makes such beautiful birdie sounds, and he really gets into it when he is really happy----that is how he shows us how happy he is! A couple of times he started with the yelling & screaming, not sure why, but it didn't last only about a week or so, and he never does it anymore----he doesn't even yell anymore when we leave the room-----only good happy birdie chirps and songs!
Speaking of birds singing-----I had to show this one---- sometimes when woody is with me on my shoulder we go to the computer and watch cockatiel videos together. I found this one and it made me laugh---thought I might give you guys a laugh----this is SO cute!

My aunt has a tiel that crows like a rooster. She curses the day she ever taught him how to do it!!!!

I just got back from Vegas (horrible trip, my hubby got a 103 fever and I've been sick since we've got back on Tuesday night). We stayed at the flamingo, and by their restaurent (can't remember the name) they got a HUGE cage with 4 beautiful tiels in it that seem just to love the people walking by and talking to them. Made me miss mine soo much!!

Everytime I hear a male sing a tune ---- I WANT ONE TOO!!!!!

They have such s sweet soft whistle! Luna belts it out hers is loud -Louder-LOUDSET!!

Except when she starts the adorable little chirpy-squeaky- nosise for mating. SO DARN CUTE!!
