Question for Casper's Momma!

Postby flemishe on Tue Jan 09, 2007 1:03 pm

What kind of tiel is Casper?

Mine was "guessed" to be a whiteface cinnamon pied and I was wondering if that's what yours was since they look so alike!

White Faced

Postby Diego's Mom, Lisa on Tue Jan 09, 2007 1:50 pm

Sheri - I really think that is what they are. White Faced Cinnamon. When I got her at Petco, she was in with one other white one and another light grey one. Not labeled, no hatch dates. They just guessed. That is why I really don't know her birthday either.

But from the research I have done, looks like that is what she is. And from what I have read, it is very hard to tell the sex of this kind because of the lack of pigmentation. How did you find out that Marley was a male? My vet told me that MOST LIKELY Casper is a female because of some coloring under her wings.

With her behaviour, I am assuming that she is female. She does not talk at all.
