Good Bubba, Good News

Postby bubbabird85 on Sun Jan 07, 2007 10:31 pm

I think that Bubba is actually getting a little bit better with his screaming. I think the new cage is doing some good... he is a busy little bird in a gigantic cage  . I also bought some new toys... I finally found this one toy that he loved but chewed apart, and I couldn't find anotherone anywhere... finally got one after an old pet store switched owners. I also got him a mirror for the first time--he never had one before because I heard that they can bond to the mirror--but at this point I was ok with that... anything to get a little peace and quiet! e seems more interested in chewing on the plastic than playing with the mirror, but hey, if it keeps him quiet...

YAY!!

A very happy Jackie and Bubba

Great news! What are the dimensions of the cage? I checked out the website and never even thought of that type of cage for a bird - a split level! What a hoot!

Oh, that's great! I have a mirror in my bird's cage and he just loves it! He loves to chew on the outer parts of it, and he looks at himself and sings to it! It seems to make him happy.

dimensions 30x18x 38 (61 including cage stand)... though I am having problems with the seller right now---got the cage and one of the food and water dishes was broken and one of the stands was bent (it sits unevenly and startles poor Bubba if he sits on it... so I took it out)---he is being a bit jerky about it... we'll see what happens.

Thanks - I'm looking to get a new cage for Luna - there are so many choices it's hard to pick one!

How was Bubba's scraming today? I hope it's getting better for your ears sake! It's a good thing he's a cockatiel instead of a cockatoo
