OMG!!! This is sooo awesome. My new guy Petey is just chattering away now. I think I even heard pretty Petey, which i have been saying to him since we named him. This is soooooo great. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

That's great! My birds only whistle! I've never been able to get mine to talk, but that's probably because my boy was already an adult when I got him. Congratulations on getting your little friend to talk!

Once they open up, there is no stopping them. I am jealous of you guys who have talking birds. Casper has 2 sounds...squawk and screech!! Well, then there is a little chirp type of thing when she is content on your chest.

My tiel makes alot of different songs, whistles, chirps---there are quite a few! including the wolf whistle, which he learned after two weeks. He does make a sound like the voice sound my parent's tiel used to make when he talked-----but he has yet to make any words out of it. I am hoping, but he has such beautiful whistles and sounds, even if he doesn't talk.
