Bubba's new cage

Postby bubbabird85 on Thu Jan 04, 2007 12:43 pm

Bubba and I wanted to thank everyone for help in selecting a new cage for him. He is very happy and is getting use to his new enviornment... the cage came today. I thought I would include a few pictures... I haven't assembled the stand completely yet... but here it is so far, with Bubba in it :D

Ok.... maybe no pics... how can I get an immage on here?[/img]

ok... here is the link. I also tried to get a picture with it finally on its stand, but my camera ran out of betteries, so those will come next. I swear... this bird is being treated like a king. I could fit about six of him in there, easily.

You could squeeze them in there, but they'd be crowded and in each other's way. He'll be very happy as he is, or with a pretty girl bird to keep him good company. He's a good-looking bird! Love his set-up, good parront!

He's a good looking birdy.... reminds me of my Chibi, but yours has more yellow on his face than Chibi. I think I've seen that cage here at one of the local pet stores, but I think your bar spacing is closer than what I saw. Looks perfect for him, and yes, you could definitely put a few more babies in there.. Time for a companion :-)

Here is the link for the cage:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Flight-Bird-Cages-F ... 0065673961

The seller is on Ebay, but the product is always available and there are a few color choices. The cost was only $105 with shipping--great deal! Wrought iron and absolutely huge... Bubba still hasn't figured out that he can fly from perch to perch though :D

Hope this helps,

Jackie and Bubba

I've been following Bubba's cage story. Just saw the pics of the cage, it's really nice and the price is great. Unfortuntately I also saw the posts about the seller being "not so nice". How's that going?

I wanted to add that I just checked out that cage on ebay, looks sweet for the money. Do yourself a favor and check out the feedback before buying from one of these guys. Just about every negative comment from a customer, the seller responded by calling the buyer an idiot, liar or a theif. It's truely horrible. I would NEVER buy from this weirdo. I hope he wasn't this rude to you, Jackie!

Yah... he was a pretty big jerk, and a really bad businessman. It didn't seem so bad at first... several people acutally recommended the cage from another cockatiel site. His rating was actually pretty good--98% positive, so I wasn't so worried... boy was I wrong. I also just saw yesterday that one of the welds is broken on the cage too.
