Just wanted to post some new pics of Grace and the flock.........she's quite the character! Any new foods I give her, she runs right over and takes a big bite and tries it.......eggs didn't go over too well yesterday though, but she always runs right over to see what food I have, axnious to try it. She loves water and baths, swings, everything Woody and Boss never liked! I keep Ivy in her cage while Grace is out because Ivy's a little territorial when it comes to the tiels and Grace is still a bit scared of Ivy and I don't want Ivy freaking her out. She's taken to Pip pretty good though and will get close enough for him to give her a nip, so I have to watch them!

You haven't been around, but if you look back several posts, you'll see that I lost Boss (Woody's mate) She died suddenly on Oct. 3rd. By the time I noticed that something was wrong, she was in some kind of distress, running around on the bottom of the cage, and within a few minutes she was gone It's hard enough to deal with, and how helpless it feels to not be able to do a thing, but then I had to think about Woody and he was having a real hard time with suddenly being alone and without her, so I found Grace on craigslist being given up. She was the only bird in her previous home and also they got her from a very reputable place..........where my sister got her quaker, so this way I didn't have to worry so much with quarantine or chances that she was not healthy. Woody has definitely been happier since I brought Grace home. He really seems to like Grace, but Grace has not been around other birds and was a bit taken back I think by my crazy birds! She's calmed down alot, but still gets a little uptight at times! Her and Woody do well together and get along great, but there is no love connection there and they don't get too close or preen each other or anything like that..........maybe in time. She is quite the character and has so much personality!

She's adorable!!! I bought a swing for Dino and he doesn't go near it - maybe in time.

I'm sure Grace will warm up to Woody in time - at least she doesn't run from him!!
