I am going to bathe/shower her more often and also wash her cage down regularly to keep the dust and dander at bay.
Hoping it will help!
Our daughter has had chest x-ray and x-ray to see if her adenoids are not enlarged and she needs to do a lung function test in the next few weeks too
She is now also taking a nosespray (nasonex) to help with possible allergies to grasses, pollen etc
Anyway, made a signature with a picture of her, see if it works
We have bought a new house by the way and unfortunately there is no good spot for the aviary so another reason I wanted to keep Holly as I am going to rehome my aviary tiels + aviary
Luckily they are going to a lady that has already got about 4 birds of mine so I know they will be loved, it is still a hard decision though
I just can not handle the thought of the birds being underneath the new house's patio and not getting any sun at all
The only spot where they would get sun and shade would be near the pool and I really don't want an aviary near a swimming pool
It has taken me quite a few weeks to make this decision, it is a tough one but I gotta do whats right for them........
