) I decided I needed to add at least one more female to my flock as my boys are bickering a lot and are mating with their two sisters.....I am selling one of my whiteface pied boys, he is gorgeous but I want to stop the mating with siblings business and also the plucking, change of scenery might do him some good (he is going to live with a lady that has bought quite a few of my other birds so I know he will be well loved and going into an aviary with lots of birdie friends
)I found this girl today, a cinnamon pearl, very pretty with the brightest orange cheek patches I have ever seen
Her crest is really small so I dare say she has been in a few fights or is still really young (got her off local stockfeed place, they look after their birds though and have looked for so long and can never find a good looking bird nearby
) but I am confident the crest will grow back into a nice lush one like my other two pearls have This is her, yet to be named, she is in quarantine in the patio aviary (and calling out non stop to my other birds shame
Good thing the neighbours are away at the moment because she is loud
