Pictures of Dolce & Soul

Postby Kennyboy5150 on Wed Jun 23, 2010 12:19 pm

This is Dolce my Silver Whiteface. My wife calls him our lil eagle

He loves his Bath Time!!

This is Soul. He's our baby. He got him in March, he's only 10 months old. He's such a soft footed gentle bird, hence the name Soul. He's a gentle Soul

Soul doesn't understand Bath Time yet!

This is their brand new playgym I bought for them.

Let me know what you guys think! I'll be sharing all kinds of stories with these two!!

They're adorable! My little normal grey boy is also a very gentle soul! I like the playgym, where did you get it? I'm looking to replace my small playgym that belongs to my lovebird because he's got it all chewed up and it's getting ratty looking! I like yours because it looks a little sturdier than the one I have for my lovie, and sometimes my larger bird Ivy doesn't realize that she's big and she'll try to get on a playgym made for smaller birds, and it looks like it gets a little wobbly under her weight......she's buddies with my lovebird and will sometimes go on his smaller size things on his cage.

And as for the playgym, I went back to the pet store to get a pic of the playgym. Hope this helps.

Those tiels are just beautiful. Dolce DOES look like an eagle. My normal grey male, Linus, is not a gentle soul. He's a trouble maker! :P

I found it by typing in the name of the playgym.

    quite pricey though :?
You can easily make one yourself, especially if you use natural branches like the one in the second link and you or your partner are handy

    Hey Woody!
Wasn't your "significant other" making nice wooden playgyms as I recall at the bird show last year? :)
My birds love my scrotty beat up looking wooden playgym. They hate the plastic one I bought on drsfoster.

Yes, he is making a larger playgym, but at the moment he has no time because he's building a big deck for some lady over in NY. After that, he is going to knock down a wall in the bird room and expanding it and it will be all re-done, so he's pretty busy and no time for playgyms! The larger one we are making is only started and has to wait as well! I was just looking around for a smaller one for Pip because his is getting a bit worn and ratty looking and getting hard to clean.....soon it will be falling apart when I clean it, so I just figured I don't mind spending the money on a small one.....it's those big expensive ones that we'd rather build ourselves! I make toys too, and just got more parts, but I still buy some of those too, even though I make them!
