I really can't think of anything else that might help Carl. Poor guy! It was actually, for the most part, easy to medicate the budgie I had, although in truth I don't know why. Actually, it's easier to medicate a parent raised cockatiel than her.

Yup, Carl is still hanging in there. He has been like this for at least two years. I will keep him on the megabac indefinitely if I have to. He is awful to give meds (orally)to. Button is the easiest bird to give meds to. Maybe because she is so used to it. it doesn't seem to phase her.Maybe she knows after she gets her meds she will get a millet treat and kisses
