I beleive that is a a sugar like base..I think it depends on it actual chemical configuration. It would still be interesting to see what the folks at Labever say.
When I stopped giving Carl the avicakes he was still throwing up. The vet thought it was a good thing to give Carl the avicakes.

yeast infections gets "fed" by sugar
