Our new female tiel, Coco, the cinnamon whiteface pearl, has a normal, loud call when she is excited but if she is just softly whistling, she sounds as if she has something in her mouth/throat.
Could that just be her sound or should I be concerned?

When I first got her I noticed during our car trip she was shaking her head a little, but as soon as we got her home I gave her a drop of Ivermectin on her back and have not see her shake her head at all anymore......
I was thinking she might have had some mites that went up her ear for her to shake her head???

Another thing is that I find her nostrils really quite large , compared to my other birds who have small little holes, she has wide nostrils
They look clean and pink though, so I guess she will be able to smell really well
