    Hi,
Sorry about yesterday. Wanted to give some details but apparently my word doc didn’t save. Lol.
I am new to birds and new to Tiels. I just picked up a Whiteface Tiel named Whistler from a Bird Rescue in WI. Whistler knows words like Pretty Bird and is an excellent Whistler( Hence his Name). Unfortunately he is so good that he even repeats my imperfections when I whistle Tunes. He is 13 Years old and in good health. He is very tame and apparently was treated well until I got him. I also am into Cichlids and own many aquariums. My only other pet is a German Shepherd Dog that is 11 named Odin. I will also be volunteering at the rescue and hope to continue to learn things about different birds. From what I have seen Tiels are excellent birds to keep and seem to make great companions.

The Main part of Whistler’s diet is a 1:1 combo of Basics Plus Goldenfeast Cockatiel & Zupreem Cockatiel Avian Maint. Fruit Blend Flavor.
I also give him Mixed Fruit and Veggies. Lots of Spray Millet and I also put Nutriberries in his foraging cup.
