Is it just my flock, just me being paranoid, or is there really something to the addage that 'tiels wil NOT eat anything cold, cool, or even remotely below room temperature( Exception being seeds or pelletss I suppose)? I've been pondering this little jewel of info now for some weeks, and can not come up with any satisfactory answers other than "they just don't like cold food, just as humans" or something along those lines. Now I do have one kid, Missy, who will at least *try* and grab a taste of something straight out of the fridge, but mostly not Best things for her to try would be some kind of different wheat-based object, but as far as something like ice cream, pudding, cereal, liquids, or what have you, she's just not going to even get within a beaks distace of it. Hot food is a whole different story. Missy and Suzie both HAVE to have a drink of HOT tap water first thing in he a.m., I guess ike a lot of humans have to have their coffee. Personally, I prefer iced green teal Kuttke to no caffenene, no crappy tasteing over-roasted black coffee witch tastes more like tar than anything else.. mabe I'm just getting set in my old grumppy ways!
Anyhow, just some "Food for thought"

Pun intended!
