Before I drove up (which is a good hour's ride) I checked their website first so I could draw up my list. I saw on the "new items" that they had fake cockatiels eggs. I had bought plastic eggs before at craft stores but the birds figured out they were plastic and ignored them. The eggs I had were hollow light plastic eggs (like the ones you see on a cheap Easter decorations)
However these eggs at the bird supply store were solid with no ridges. Linus took to these eggs immediately. When he sat on them they remained warm. I think they are made of a resin rather than plastic in which they retain the heat like a real egg. So far so good
