We've gotten way off topic, but to answer about the dremel tool, it does not make a terrible amount of noise, especially running on the lowest speed available. I used I think, a 400 grit round wheel grinder that was about 1/2" in diameter. As for the bird, it grinds the nails so quick, it takes less than a second to do each nail. Essentially, all you have to do is just very lightly touch the tip of the nail, and it's dull. You *can* very easily burn the nail if you where to hold it on for any length of time.

Best way to tell how fast it cuts, is to touch it to your own toenail or fingernail, and then you can judge how much pressure, (extremely little) and time to cut. It sure beats struggling with the bird trying to hold the nail and clip it. None I've done like it, but tis one of those "necessary evils" if you don't want to look like you've always just completed a cat fight, and the cat won :-) Not to mention them snagging nails on clothing and other stuff.

Ok here we go. Harrison sample was very small but the guys did seem to enjoy it. Lafeber cakes And bars ok but not a great hit Nuti-berries untried as of yet. Scenic pellets more on the floor than in the mouth. Rodybush crumble all I can say is wow to say it vanished is an understatement.

so out the 4 samples it's all thumbs up for Roudybush

My bird did not like avi-cakes or the bars, but I have purchased the nutriberries in the past and he eats them only if I break them up----have you tried that? Did anyone get pellets with their Lafebers because I didn't notice anyone saying that they did. My bird is aweful picky and he likes the lefeber pellets. They sent me two good size containers with all that other stuff, avi-cakes, bars and nutriberries.

In my box from Lafeber's, they didn't send the pellets. But I had purchased the small bucket before. Casper doesn't really like them all that much. And now that I give her the avi-cakes, nutri-berries, and the bars, she won't touch pellets. I do the same thing with the nutri-berries. They are really hard, so I break them with a knife.

That's strange... I got the complete package from Lafebers. Pellets, bars, and the nutri-berries. None of mine will touch the nutri-berries, even if I break them up, nor do they like the bars, but the pellets are #1 with all.
