Cisco had his first B-day yesterday. Cant believe he is already a year old. Still retaining some baby traits but acting more like a teenager every day!! He is talking more and more and loves to whistle to anything!!! He is a fine young man and we could not be happier with him. We bought him two new toys and made him some organic cornbread. He enjoyed his cornbread and loved one of his toys (not so sure about the other). Here are some pics that I took.

Looks like he had a great hatch day! I Have the Healthy Bird Cookbook and I make something for Lola every year on her hatchday.

(My Lola has that toy in the pics.. she LOVES it. She destroyed the plam leaf, so I bought a big pack and just remake it after she chews it all up. It's pretty easy) (This year Lola is going to be 4 and I've had her since she was 2 and 1/2 months old!)

HAPPY HATCHDAY little one. He seems to be having a good time with his new toy and all his yummy treats. They grow so fast.

My Sassyfras just turned 8 on Sunday. I went and got all the birds the great dried fruit and nut mix at Parrot Island. And I got a couple little wooden alphabet blocks for them. They love to hold them in their foot and chew them up.

Freddy, I can't believe that Cisco is now a year old! I really enjoyed the pics. Isn't it funny how they like some toys and hate others?

Yeah

He decided to change his mind about the toy - so much so that he destroyed it in a day and a half !!! It feels like only yesterday that he came to live with us, and even more amazing is how hes gone from being parrot BHC447 to being Cisco, Chief Entertainer and Mess Maker. Its been great having him as an addition to our house.
