Hi all,
My friend Sally Blanchard came down to visit this past Sunday, and if you go to her web site, you can see a picture of Beaker, ready to jump at her. LOL They are working on their 'friendship' expectations at this time...
Just scroll down to where it says "Sally Blanchard's blog", dated Monday October 8 and you can read about it.
As you can see in the picture, Beaker has his 'pantaloons' flared out and he's all wound up at this point. The rest of the time he and Sally were playing, as she is trying to see if Beaker can come to know she's 'good people' and not try to attack her. LOLOL
Poor Sally, we'll take it slowly.

Sally Blanchard AND Dr. Pepperburg are going to be in Jersey this coming weekend at Bird Paradise in Burlington. I went last year but I am SOOO bummed I will not be going this weekend.

I'd love to go just to hear Dr. Pepperberg! (I already know Sally's spiel, lolol) It looks like there are going to be all kinds of things going on at the Jersey show! I wish ours here in Denver were that good. We only have two a year, and the Nov show is a little better than the June show, but not like it should be. They have the "Cage Bird Society" national judging at the November show and you can see English Budgies that are the size of African Greys! (Well, maybe not THAT big, but they are pretty good size!)

Yes, Beaker is a little booger alright. It was fun to watch Sally 'hold him off' with a kitchen towel though.
