Cisco Cheats

Postby Freddy on Mon Jul 30, 2007 9:22 pm

So --- a new behavior for the young lad. Yesterday I had him on my shoulder and was ready to change my shirt and go out for a bit. Cisco put up an argument like he usually does and then - I dont know if he decided it was inevitable that he had to UP or what - he put his head down on my shoulder, looked up at me square in the eye, and gave that little bird cheep - you know the one that they reserve for "gotta be cute" times or "Im really content" (like when they get a good cheek rub) times. My heart just melted and needless to say he bought himself several more minutes of shoulder time. SO - did he reason this out or was this just a lucky ploy on his part? Do I have uber bird or is this typical Caique smarts? Have I created a mini monster  . Hes just to dam cute for his own good and maybe a little devilish

We ALL have uber birds because they're caiques! LOLOLOL It was probably just a flukey thing, but ya gotta wonder sometimes huh? Their timing is impeccable and it does seem like they 'know' what they're doing.
It's ok, enjoy all his little quirky things. They're so wonderful!

Freddy,
That's hillarious! Sparky does exactly the same thing. Also, after I eventually set him down because I had to leave 5 minutes ago, will sit there holding his head in his foot and looking at me, sometimes he'll cheep softly. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing because he only does it when I'm about to leave.
