March is Hatch Day month here!

Postby sandy on Mon Mar 05, 2007 12:13 pm

Just thought I'd share: Mika turned a year old yesterday and Sparky will be 3 on the 29th! We're going to celebrate tonight with cornbread hatch day cake. Sparky helped us whistle "Happy Hatch Day" to Mika last night before bed. It was too cute! He only got about 1/3 of the notes..sort of randomly.LOL!

How sweet. Yes ~ March is a busy birthday month at our house too. Scooter hatched on the 8th and Paulie on the 9th (they are brothers from the same clutch). Then Chili and Punkin are later -(I'm a bad birdie mom, can't remember the dates unless I look at the calendar). I don't know the date that Jackson hatched, so I should just probably make up a date and ad him to the March birthdays. ha ha Actually, I think I missed the 2 caiques that hatched in January. I thought I might make them bread pudding with the 12 grain bread and throw in some yams and other goodies.

Happy Hatch Day ya'all!

Postby nancd777 on Fri Apr 20, 2007 2:09 pm

Can't wait to get my next 3 babies. We kind of went "caique crazy" and bought 4 from a breeder. One female came home last week, Jade and we've had Harvey for awhile now. Mine have hatched but we are waiting for them to be abundance weaned and flight suit trained. Wish I could do this all myself but it voids the guarantee....sigh. It's like being "eggnant" and waiting for THE day! :)

Good to "meet" another nanc I like your cool smiley face. Here's mine... Actually it reminds me of me with glasses.

Oh, how sweet! I love baby pictures. Can you imagine having all of those pin feathers. No wonder, Yank, my bhc (notice the abbrev.) is still so grumpy!
