I still have a lot of decorating to do and I have to set up the hanging playgyms in the bird room - but this is it for now... :-)

Jamie looks pretty content in all the photo's. The view out their window is amazing - the beautiful snow topped tree's. What state or city are you in? Your new place looks just gorgeous and I'm glad the birds are settling in OK. They should adjust quite well as long as "mom" is there.

Hi Linda,

Thanks :-)

I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We have had a lot of snow this year but that's quite unusual. It sure looks pretty when everyting is white :-)

Where do you live?

Beautiful pictures.... and what a great view they have! I used to live in Oregon and miss the trees... now I'm in the desert! BIG change.

Hi Kate -

Postby Scootie on Tue Jan 23, 2007 9:50 am

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our winters can be beautiful with the new snow too. Luckily, we have had a very mild winter so far. I too lived in Oregon many years ago while in high school. Lived on a ranch with my aunt and uncle in a little town called Creswell. It is between Eugene and Cottage Grove. It is very beautiful there also but very rarely snowed but the tree's were gorgeous. We picked alot of cherries in the summer to earn money. Pie cherries, royal anne's and the wonderful bing cherries. I loved it there in the small town atmosphere.

After moving to Georgia over 25 years ago, I rarely miss the long cold winters, but seeing those trees made me very nostalgic about going home.

The pictures of your new home look beautiful and your fids look like they are adjusting very well. Enjoy your new home.
