caiques & cockatiels

Postby bostonbudgie on Thu Dec 28, 2006 10:08 am

This is probably a dumb question but i thought I would ask you caique people.
I play with a friend's caique. I just love the bird but I have 5 tiels.
Do you think it is possible for me to get a caique when I have 5 tiels?

Sure its possible. Its also possible I will win the lottery to.

Caiques dont usualy play nice with other birds. I would be very worried about my tiels with a Caique about.

I already had 1 parrotlet and 2 lovebirds when I got my caique. I absolutely CANNOT allow my caique to be out when they are out but I still enjoy my caique.

So, I would say that if you can keep them separated and have time for all, you can have a caique. My caique requires several hours a day of my time and I spend a lot less with my other birds now. It is not easy juggling my time between them. But, my caique is the most wonderful bird in the world!!!

I am glad I asked. I thought it might be a bad idea mixing tiels & with a caique so I am glad I asked.
I'll just go over my friends house to play with his ciaque to get my "caique urge' out of my system!
