There was a green parakeet in mine and my neighbor's yard today. We tried to catch him. He seemed tame. wish I would've gone about trying to catch him differently. Anyway...I put a cage out with some seed though I doubt he will come to it. Might try to get some millet tomorrow. Any other ideas on how to catch him?

I wish I would've just put my hand out to see if he would've come to me instead of trying to capture him. We scared him.

I have caugh a lot of budgies and lovebids that have come to visit my aviary of birds by turning the garden hose on them full force. If you can quickly get them throughly soaked with water they can not fly away and are easy to pick up.
