Hello Everyone,

I am very upset and angry with my grandson (age 4) who yesterday reached through the cage bars and grabbed two of my budgies tail feathers and pulled them out. Needless to say they were horrified as was I! My question is whether they will grow back. He pulled the longest feather out of each bird. My cage has very small budgie sized bars and I guess their tail feathers were sticking out through the bars and that is how he got them.

Aww.. poor birds and your grandson! lol It's like any animal.. cat or dog, kids pull tails! Yes they will grow back. Give it some time.
