I just browsed "breeder birds for sale," and thought I might get some feedback here:
There is a recent post for a pair of Goffin's, 10 years old, that produces 4 clutches a year, for $900.
Well, in my experience, Goffin's start breeding successfully at about age 10, and produce 1 clutch a year
successfully, and might lay 3 clutches if the eggs are pulled. A single baby is worth about $900.
I say, if it sounds too good to be true.....
