I am so glad I put camera's on my nest boxes. and also on the out side to see when a new pair are interested in each other.
How I came about putting camera's on the nest box. I bought survalance cameras from harbor fraight Co. Very cheap.
to moneter my drive way. So I thought ,how could I mount one of them on the nest box. Works great. I drilled a hole at the end of box away from the lid, just the size of the lens put that in the hole and used hot glue to secure it to the box.The cameras have sound also. I don't have to be with the birds to know what is going on,
The only draw back on these camera I have wires strung out. I have the TV,s in the house and can watch and hear my birds all the time,
At the moment I have just one pair that are nesting.
My eggs are infertile. The male has not learned or brave enough to climb on top.
He seems to know what to do but can't figure out how.
With out the cameras I would not know this and would be wondering why they are not making babies. This way I know the reason.
