Need Help!!

Postby crazy4tiels88 on Tue Jun 17, 2008 6:17 am

I have cockatiels, and one of my females is laying eggs!! My male is very aggresive this season, towards me and her!! Can I take him out for a week while I am on vacation, because my grandmother is feeding them and I don't want her getting bit. She has only layed one egg right now, that was last night. Thanks for any info,
Melissa and her 5 tiels

It's fine to temporarily, or permanitely, separate pairs.

If there's a chance that the eggs might be fertile but your leaving around the time they'd be hatching or growing then I'd suggest to not encourage the hen to lay eggs until your back (that is, if you have experience breeding tiels).
