This is such an easy question to answer. For every pair of loud birds that you add you make sure that you don't have any African species in the same room. Greys and other African birds DO NOT like to breed in a loud area. They are quiet birds that will breed in the same room with senegals, jardines, red bellies and timnehs. The loud birds breed with loud birds, but you have to realize that greys are not form the same part of the world as macaws and they just do not like the noise. Greys also like a darker area for breeding and that is one of the secrets to successful grey breeding. I try and keep less light going into their nestboxes then any other species that I have raised. This goes for the other African species as well. So reduce your greys and sight block the macaws and enjoy!!
