Any advise on the "Egg watch" for the Petiaric brooder

Postby nelsonandstanfield on Sat Apr 26, 2008 8:56 pm

I am purchasing a Petiatric brooder and Egg Watch from a friend.

Anyone have experience using it as a hatcher?

Thanks!
Jeff

Hi,
I just posted a question on my bird club site about incubators & brooders because I needed one also and 3 of the 4 replies were for the Petiatric unit - everyone loves them. I went to a breeders house just yesterday and she had an egg turner in the brooder and rambled about how much she loved it! She also had a spare Petiatric unit to use as a brooder for when the eggs hatch.
She said hers was almost 15 years old (base models - not digital or solid state) and works great. I just had a bad experience with a Brinsea model....
