when to pull grey babies?

My fat little grey babies are going on three weeks now, and I was wondering what folks thought of pull ages? When is it best to pull babies for hand feeding and weaning?

Ive always been told @ 2 weeks unless something bad happens. Then you pull before, but I dont breed so I surley would read up on it.
