I would like to think that most people who are reputable breeders would make exceptions when it is appropriate.
Even though most of us have our own "refund policy," I'm sure we have all made exceptions to the rule.
It's very difficult when you are dealing with someone who jerks you around and makes lots of extra work for you, especially when you are trying to accommodate and please the person.
Only you can decide what's best for your own situation and your business ethic.
I'm sure whatever you decide, will be the best for this particular case.
