breeder cage set up for DYH

Postby btan11 on Fri Jul 20, 2007 11:12 am

I have a pair of DYH set up in a 3'x3'x6' cage on legs, about 3' off the floor with nest box hung outside the cage at the highest point.
I have had them for a few months and I know is not their breeding season now. Just curious if my set up is acceptable for breeding these amazons? Any other suggestions or advice is also appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am also setting up another pair for breeding. Should I visual separate the two pairs and have the pairs in close proximity?

As for diet-supreem pellets, soak-cook beans with corn, apples, bananas, and occasional seed mix.
