I bought a pair of amazons from a man. Right before I was suppost to pick them up from the airport he called and said he did not send them because they were on eggs, so I said just send them to me when the babies hatch. Well, it has been more than 2 months and he wont send them and he has stoped emailing me back. What should I do? Any help would be great.

Talk to your local police about charging him with theft or mail fraud or whatever law applies. The amount you paid him will be a determining factor too. The police will know the applicable law(s), and their info is free. If you checked him out and know he has a business, file a Better Business Bureau complaint in his area to warn others away while your case is underway.

I have the email that he sent me when he asked me if I wanted them. Should I post that on here?

If he's already sent you a couple birds, you should at least ask for your money back (or items) that were in trade for the amazons... and if he wont even give you that, I'd say talk to the police about it. Be sure you have all e-mail documents, transactions, anything between you and the guy that said he'd sell you the zons.

I have asked him to send me the amazons or the $550 that I have in them, but he stoped returning my emails.

This once happened to me. My Husband and I drove over 1,000 mile to the place (big avairy) and I warned her if she didn't hand over the birds there would be some big problems. There is more to this story but I don't like being taken advantage of. Yes, I got the birds.[/i][/b]

I have gotten a hold of the man and he said he would send me my money back or a different pair of birds. So I think I have it taken care of. I will see if I recive the money on Friday. Thanks for all of yalls help!

try to get your money back if possible.I would be willing to bet that either one or both have died or they got a higher price somewhere else.The problem is that the pair that you bought might not be the pair you end with.A letter from a lawyer might do you some good also.Good luck
