Eclectus question

Postby swan9000 on Sat Dec 09, 2006 4:13 pm

I am looking at buying a 11 year old pair of SI Eclectus. Any ideas on what I can expect from breeding them? Is there an age for eclectus where breeding become harder or can they continue to reproduce their entire life if given the proper care and nutrition?
They have only have hatched on clutch, the rest the eggs have been broken but this could because the owner was not using the appropriate nest box.
Any imput you can give me will help me a lot.
Thanks!
