I think that's a question best put to your avian vet!! Unless of course, someone out there has had the same problem. Air sac ruptures don't sound good in any case. Best of luck to you and your bird !!

Where is this rupture located and how large is the rupture.

I have a male yellow nape with a rupture under the eye. The air has been removed and just comes back so we leave it alone. . This in no way affects his eating, etc.
