Thanks for the feed back. I was not able to read the article, it was too small saved it as a pic and then tried to make it bigger but not enough pix so it was not clear, But I was able to veiw her cages, much larger then mine and that sure gives them a lot more room. The only thing I like about ours is that they can be moved.
The only bad thing of them breeding in the winter is that you have to pull the babies as soon as they are born or you will loose them, I have lost 3 so far, they get cold and will not make it. Spring and Summer is much better, So we just keep a close eye on them and try to get them as soon as they hatch. The African Greys and the Green Wing were just paired last summer and GW have has laid 3 times, but not fertile, and the AG have laid 3 times and not fertile, sitting on egs now and are due around the 29th so will keep an eye on them, The B&G have had 2 clutches this winter and both had babies. the baby on my web site was born on 3-13-11. I still can not belive that they are breeding in the winter, they must be very comfortable where they are. There is convenient store close buy and a busy street right behind them and all that noise dues not bother them.
