I frequent this website as well as Birdmart.com, AvianBiotech.com and hoobly.com. I would be interested in other inputs also as I am always looking for new websites!

    Like Up-At-Six in what ways?

Yes, there are many bird related chat/discussion boards out there. You just have to find the one which is more suited to your tastes. Some are into making money, some are into advertising, some are into getting their own personal agendas across and some are spin-offs of other boards comprising of people who did not like the way the boards they left were run etc., some are species-specific related, some are into fluff, some are into social networking, some are into selling toys and products, some into selling birds, etc. etc. etc. … I have none to recommend personally at this time because all the ones I have found or have been a member on are way too controlling and most do not allow free speech. Most want their members to sugar-coat their words so no other member is unhappy with the way a certain individual speaks. Many are into deleting or editing posts unfairly which should not be acceptable to any member IMO.

If you are into birds because of the love of the hobby or just because you love your own pet bird(s), I suggest that you try to find a board where the main goal of most members is to share freely their knowledge and experiences to help assist in making every member's bird(s) have a better life than they currently have. Be open to suggestions and always be willing to change your ways should someone point out a better way of doing something for your birds. Don't be so concerned about how or what words are used to advise you, just take the good advice and apply it to your own flock. As long as profanity, vulgarity and outright flaming is not used, I personally feel each person should be allowed to be themselves and speak the way they do without censorship or threats of suspension or banning.

Hope these suggestions help you find what you are specifically looking for.

There are several bird oriented sites out there, like others have said. I've been a member of U@6 since 1998. This current version of the board is nice, although I do miss the old format.
