feelings

Postby hesbird on Sat Nov 08, 2008 12:03 pm

Now I lay me down to sleep
My new mom adopted me
I am hers to keep

If I bite or holler or scream
She says she loves me
I don't have to be mean

My trust has been shattered
I feel sad and confused
But I am sleeping safe tonite

She gives me all she has

Thats very nice. Its just to bad so many birds end up needing rescuing or rehoming. I'm babysitting a bird right now for someone whos life dramatically changed through no fault of theirs. I think this person would like me to buy the bird, but I just lost my job, so can only committ to babysitting. It will break my heart if he comes to take her and sell her to someone else. She bonded to me instantly, and although I am trying to remain neutral, its pretty hard when everything the bird is telling you with their body language says " I love you".

I know!!! I have two tiels I have been babysitting for 3 months, the owner moved and I have not heard from her. If she tries now, there could be a bigggggg bird fight...I hope the owner will have a caring heart and let the bird stay with you. Its not the money, its the bird and its happiness....I know I am kinda sappy
