What do all you find to be the best and safest carpet shampoo to use in the main room your babies live in?

We use the walmart pet brand however we have used others with no issues . We do however move the birds to an area that we are not doing at that time (such as the kitchen since it is vinyl ) and we open a window and door for cross ventilation . When we do it in the winter we can not open windows but we do move them to the kitchen and have had no ill effects once the carpet is dry (about 3 hours to thourogly dry) we move them back in we use fans to speed the evap drying . I would recomend moving them to an area that you are not planning on treating and cleaning for a few hours tho HTH

Thank you, I was thinking of using that allergen shampoo hoping that it has less of a smell and be more gentle.. Cuz Rosie loves to play on the floor or just walk around on the floor and we all know how filthy floors are since we walk on them with our shoes that we used outside yuck!
