Steam cleaner

Postby Carters Dad on Mon May 12, 2008 7:11 pm

I was talking to some others about the task of cleaning cages and I was told to try a steam cleaner to clean them. I hear that it makes cleaning a breeze, but I do not understand what kind I am looking for. Does anyone else use a steam cleaner to clean thier cages?? Anyone have tips they would like to share??
Thanks :D

My first Shark steamer was a true pleasure for several years. When it suddenly died, I rushed to Target for a replacement and brought home one that's never pleased me as much. Both were cheap, $80 and $100. Neither had/has attachments that were suitable for cages, but I still found the first VERY helpful, the current well worth its cost but still somewhat disappointing. I'm sure there's another out there that I would love, but I'm too short of funds to just buy and try. I'll need good recommendations first. Good luck to you!

I have an Eureka steam cleaner. Get one that has a spray handle that does a fine stream. Also, my expierence is to take the cage outside for this, it will drip!!! I love steaming my cages though.
