I told my friends how well you guys here have responded to giving ernie votes and they are so happy and thankful!!

Oh, this Ernie had the best life ever! He was actually my boyfriend's dog with his ex when they were married, and she kept the dog, but she had some problems and she had cancer and had to give him to us to keep because she lost her house and had to stay at an apartment where no dogs were allowed-----she took him often though. They took Ernie on a trip in their camper around the country and this dog had been everywhere, even to alaska and even swam in the water with the glaciers----people couldn't believe it, but he just loved the water!
Me and my boyfriend only had Ernie for about six or seven months, but he was such a good dog! gee, now that I think about it, he probably had a better than me! lol It's hard now because we can't just go out and get another dog-----see my little monster lovie is very social and seem to have a fascination with dogs and just loves them! When he sees a dog, he wants to be his buddy and will land on him and want to spend time with him! Be hard to get another dog that is good with birds like Ernie was!
